The Hepatitis C Trust is a patient-led organisation that provides support, information and advocacy for people with hepatitis C.
We are pleased to say we have worked with the Trust for over 7 years, where we have taken on a variety of roles, from parliamentary lobbying to press and media and events organization.
We are proud to have set up and developed the Trust’s policy and public affairs function and to have played a key role in securing the development of a national liver disease strategy that will address hepatitis C and achieving the appointment of a ‘Liver Tsar’ to drive forward the work.
We have used our extensive knowledge and experience of health policy in general and BBVs in particular to support other groups such as HCV Action, and the World Hepatitis Alliance.
It’s no exaggeration to say we are very much part of the team at the Trust and we hope to continue to work with them for a long time yet.
“I had reservations about using consultants to handle our public affairs, but Principle are different. From day one they really understood what we needed and what we as an organisation are all about. We have been working with them for over 4 years now and I see them more as our first rate in-house public affairs and communications department rather than as outside consultants.”
