Having engaged with colleagues at Missing People on number of occasions over the years whilst working for other organisations we were thrilled that they called on us to provide additional public affairs support in the run up to a critical moment in their ‘Missing Rights’ campaign.
Our consultant drew on existing expertise and contacts to support Missing People’s parliamentary campaigning in advance of the second reading of John Glen MP’s Presumption of Death Bill.
We are so pleased for them that the bill passed all its House of Commons stages (almost unheard of for Private Members Bills) and wish them all the best with the next phase of the campaign as the Bill passes through the House of Lords.
“We used Principle to help us with our Parliamentary work in the run up to the second reading of the Presumption of Death Bill. They were able to hit the ground running, were able to draw on established relationships with key Parliamentarians and other stakeholders and were not only professional but also passionate about the cause. We will certainly use them again if the need arises.”
