While the political tumult of 2022 will take some topping, there continue to be plenty of developments for observers of UK politics to get to grips with in 2023.
February alone saw the creation of four new Government departments and a minor ministerial reshuffle, the surprise resignation of Nicola Sturgeon as Scotland’s First Minister and Labour leader Keir Starmer ruling out his predecessor Jeremy Corbyn standing as a Labour candidate at the next election. Oh yes, and a major breakthrough in resolving the challenges of the post-Brexit UK/EU relationship (we have explore more about the political situation in Northern Ireland in our latest blog post).
In these times, it is vital that charities use their insights and experience to shape events and ensure they are prepared for what comes next. In our spring 2023 newsletter, you can read about key developments and how we’ve been helping the charities we work with so far this year.
