Becky leads projects to drive charities’ strategies forward, achieving significant successes in policy change, service expansion and crisis and reputation management.

In her time at Principle Becky has developed policy solutions and public affairs strategies across multiple policy areas including health, education, children’s rights and volunteering. In identifying opportunities and securing charity service expansion, Becky also supports organisational development and design to ensure charities are best set up to achieve their strategic goals.

Becky’s career highlights include, at The Hepatitis C Trust successfully changing government policy to secure opt out testing for hep C, hep B and HIV in English prisons. At St John Ambulance, she coordinated their successful ask to government for funds to continue their life saving work during the pandemic, as well as leading their public affairs strategy to successfully make the case for creating an ambulance auxiliary to the NHS.

Other clients during her time at Principle include: Teenage Cancer Trust, nurtureuk, Volunteering Matters, Missing People, Depaul UK, the Refugee Council and The Children’s Society.

Becky began her career in 2007 as Parliamentary Researcher to a campaigning backbench MP, Chair of two children’s rights APPGs
