Sayif Ahmed

Sayif joined Principle from Portland Communications, where he was an intern in the Middle East team, supporting foreign governmental clients to deal with complex political events and strategic communications.

Prior to this, Sayif graduated from Loughborough University where he studied International Relations. The degree included a placement year, where he worked at a human rights NGO Reprieve, which included drafting Universal Period Review submissions to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, creating campaigns to stop the violation of human rights across the world and assisting on international cases related to those standing trial for the death penalty. He also holds a Master’s in International Security and Politics from SOAS, University of London.

For Principle, Sayif leads on producing Daily Briefs and tailored Weekly Briefs for our charity partners, a key source of information on parliamentary activity and media coverage. He also provides expert public affairs support to clients, including Health Equals, the UK’s campaign for improving health opportunities.
