September 2022 – September 2023

We work with education charity nurtureuk, who are dedicated to improving the social, emotional, mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the UK, providing them with strategic and practical public affairs support to help raise awareness of the benefits of nurturing approaches in schools.

IMPACT

  • Facilitated visits to showcase nurture provision to key cross-party political stakeholders, and developed cross-party champions for nurture.
  • Supported nurtureuk to build key organisational relationships with relevant Whitehall officials and non-departmental bodies.
  • Developed nurtureuk’s evidence base to support its policy calls, including providing research support to evaluate the impact of a three-year nurture programme working with 300 mainstream schools across Kent and crafting position papers to clearly set out nurtureuk’s vision and aims on relevant policy issues, creating the necessary foundations for ongoing policy influencing work.
