Provided strategic advice to senior leaders on all aspects of social care policy development including short term critical issues during Covid and the need for long-term reform of the sector
Helped MHA to influence key Covid policies for the sector, e.g. the Infection Control Fund, Workforce Retention Fund and Essential Family Carer scheme
Organised a range of successful events to engage influential politicians such as visits to services, 1-2-1 meetings, a private roundtable and party conference fringe meetings.
Helped MHA to build positive relationships with DHSC officials, members of the Health and Care Select Committee and cross-party members of the APPG on Adult Social Care
